Garoran is the second boss in Ashen. His death is the final objective of Rod and Stone.

Garoran uses similar tactics to Gravelord Nito from the first Dark Souls, in that he summons undead minions to help him fight and is prone to destroying them with the friendly fire from his huge AoE magic attacks.
Thankfully for you, as in most of Ashen it’s highly likely you won’t be alone. One person (or your AI companion,) should focus on attacking the many skeletons in the boss arena, while the other handles the boss.
Garoran himself isn’t very difficult to stay out of the way of, you just need to be careful of his slam attacks. Keep your distance if you need to drink sap, wait for your openings, and make sure you don’t get overwhelmed, and you should overcome this rogue Listener in no time.
